32 NEW BARRELS IN OUR CELLAR

In the last years our portfolio has been enriched by wines requiring long aging in wood, such as Pensé, Sibané, and Cabané, particularly appreciated in Asian and Northern European countries.
These new wines led us to invest in 32 new 2500-liter Slavonian oak barrels. Slavonia or Schiavonia is a region of eastern Croatia, where there are large forests that give us a “large grain” wood.

Differently from barriques, large barrels allow the wine to evolve, adding delicate notes of toasting and spices, without covering the primary aromas typical of our varietals.

The old barriques were sold to a Scottish Cognac distillery.
