A rich and bold Piemonte Barbera, far from the young and vibrant typical Barbera d\u2019 Asti. In the local dialect, \u201cPens\u00e9\u201d means \u201cthinking\u201d. Pens\u00e9 is indeed an unusual and very complex meditation wine, to be drunk during or after dinner, with or without food. A result of long waits in the vineyard and cellar, Pens\u00e9 needs to be sipped slowly to fully enjoy the complexity of its bouquet,\u00a0 which gradually comes out of the glass, showcasing notes of red fruit jam, cherries in alcohol, green tea, spices, and licorice. The palate is warm, soft, and velvety.<\/p>\n
