The history of this red wine has its roots in ancient times, presumably in pre-Roman times. Some of the greatest wines of the world are made of Nebbiolo, for example <\/span><b>Nebbiolo d&#8217;Alba<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> DOC, <\/span><b>Langhe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> DOC <\/span><b>Nebbiolo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Barbaresco<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> DOCG, and <\/span><b>Barolo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> DOCG.<a id=\"barbaresco\"><\/a> The intense bouquet presents earthy notes, rose petals, pepper and cherry. For its unique peculiarities, Nebbiolo goes well with tasty and flavorsome meat dishes such as games, boiled meats, and the traditional braised beef.<\/span>\n<h3><b>Barbaresco<\/b><\/h3>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Barbaresco<\/strong> is a unique <strong>Piedmontese wine<\/strong> because of its harmonic and dry structure. Made of <strong>Nebbiolo grapes<\/strong> and subjected to aging periods of at least 26 months (of which 9 in wooden barrels), <strong>Barbaresco<\/strong> owes its fame to the popular diffusion dating back to the second half of the nineteenth century. In conjunction with the specific microclimatic conditions of the territories south of <strong>Alba<\/strong>, this wine stands out for the long ripening of the grapes, often lasting until the first weeks of November.
