It’s harvest time at Cantine Povero!

Here we are, we started the 2023 harvest a week ago.

The winter of 2023 was dry, but the spring rains were more generous than in 2022, benefiting the good growth of the vines.

The water provided the necessary humidity for the vines to absorb nutrients, contributing to the formation of juicy and sugar-rich bunches.

At the beginning of summer we miraculously escaped the hail. The very hot and dry summer gave the bunches structure and extract, but the rains just before the harvest gave them a more balanced and complex flavour.
